Bug Description

ubiquity 2.18.8-1linuxmint4
No logs available.

Using vmware workstation. The default memory for a linux vm is 256MB. Live CD worked, but starting
ubiquity gave high CPU and nothing else. Had to stop the vm after 10 minutes or so. Of course, no logs are available.
By increasing the VM memory to 700MB, the installer started and gave the first language screen.

An error message readable by the user would be a more graceful failure.
