nemo-image-converter: unable to resize images in nemo

System: mint 17.1,
in my personal folder (I have x r w rights), when I try an resize an image with right clic (nemo-image-converter installed), a pop up shows up: " xxx cannot be resized. Check whether you have permission to write to this folder."

Happens all the time.

EDIT: solved / partly: actually, it does that if no field is filled! If I select a bullet, it's OK.
Weird behavior, though
