Bug Description
My PC is a Athlon 64 3200+, 2 Gb RAM, Radeon X700 PCIE and LG 1900R DVI Monitor
I`ve recently downloaded Gutsy Tribe 5 AMD64 Live CD and try to install it. The CD boots normally up to the first screen, I select the language (Español) and the Resolution and then launch the installation. After this a black screen appears, the CD unit keep loading for a while and then a "No signal" message appear on the screen. I supposed this happens when the splash screen is intended to show. After this the CD keeps loading for some seconds and nothing else happens, I have to reset the machine.
I tried with different resolutions, with VGA, with Safe Mode, adding vga=791 to the boot command, etc, etc, and always the same result.
I was able to install Feisty 7.04 AMD64 without trouble, but with this version it was imposible to me installing the fglrx drivers. I get exactly the same result as with Gutsy LiveCD (black screen and then "No signal" message).I have tried every method I found in the net (free drivers, ATI drivers, automatic install, manual install, etc, etc) but always same result.
Hope you can find a solution, thanks !
