feisty/universe package list broken

apt-get update outputs a error massage for us.archive.ubuntu.com feisty/universe Packages

the related error is gzip being unable to decompress the file.

output of error massage is as fallows:

it seems to be working now.

not sure what happened, but i guess it was fixed when they updated the package list

I am having this same error. I've reloaded a few times and used a wired connection over a wireless one but nothing seems to work.

Here's my /etc/apt/sources.list:

one tip to try is to run the software sources app in system -> admin

select other and hit find best server. it will ping them all and download from the top 5, you will get a faster server, that might not have that issue

Works fine for me. Do you use a local proxy or something like that?
