Bug Description

Hello All,

I installed Freya 0.3 on a HP 15 Quad-Core i5-3230M CPU 2.6GHz with 4GB RAM, multiple times I faced the issue of Black Screen with Blinking Mouse Cursor if I get the screen back on by sliding fingreson tracpad or pressing anykey(not the power button in any case) while on-going installation of Freya 0.3 from Live USB Thumb Drive. On the first attempt I pull-out the USB Drive and press the power key so the elementry logo and computer shuted down. On reboot it was in a bootloop (glowing logo for more then 15min). I run into it twice from same USB Stick and after the third attempt by some attention and sliding fingres every few minutes on trackpad to prevent computer from turning of the screen Freya 0.3 Installed with Success. Anyone have an issue as same as me?

Thanxxx Freya is beautiful <3

Regards

Yes, I also had the same issue. Had to move cursor every minute to prevent this black blinking screen.

I am seeing this as well on a Lenovo yoga 2 pro. Core i7, 8gb ram. It appears that it blocks you from dropping down to the terminal via ctrl-alt-function keys. Caps locks is also slow to respond (perhaps a crash loop?)

I am having the same issue. Is already fixed?
