Bug Description

Another bug from the "requested in person a few times but never written down" category:

The number one thing that we could do to improve testability of toolkit ports on mir is to have a nested mir server that could be run under X11 (instead of having to run mir as root on a VT, switch back and forth, chmod the socket, etc.)

@duflu - seems a common request, could you consider?

I think we're waiting for Chris' platform separation stuff before attempting this. Because we'd prefer it if "X" was just another platform Mir can run on. And in the mean time I have significant other work to finish.

Actually Mir-on-X is very similar to Mir-on-Mir (nested). The only issue is the latter needs to become a first-class platform with its own separate driver binary before we can cleanly copy it and make a Mir-on-X.
