Unity autohide and gnome shell hover don't work with mtrack

Bug Description

1) Install xserver-xorg-input-mtrack if not already installed
2) Compose a file in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-mtrack.conf like the following:
     http://pastebin.com/WvZmKwMV
3) Turn on unity autohide if not already enabled - moving mouse pointer to left of screen using touchpad does not reveal it again
4) Also a problem in gnome shell - moving mouse pointer to to left corner using touchpad does not reveal dash
