hangs when trying to navigate through track

When trying to navigate through a track, especially a long audio track such as a podcast, Pogo hangs for about 5 seconds as if it has crashed, but then continues the track, this makes refinding the place where you left off very difficult and frustrating. I only noticed this on Pogo 0.8.2 and it is also present in 0.8.3. I am running Debian Testing with the Mate desktop.

Can you post a link to a file for which the problem occurs? Have you
played the file in pogo versions before 0.8.2 and noticed the same issue?

It is noticeably on podcasts (as that is the majority of times I need to use navigation) the exact place of the file(s) are /home/kevie/gpodder/downloads/ or /home/kevie/podcasts/ I used to use pogo to listen to my podcasts, but recently this has been annoying and I'm using alternative players (issue not present on the others). I tried launching pogo from the command line but I didn't notice any errors when the track was 'hanging'

I failed to reproduce the error with the latest track from unseenstudio.co.uk/category/tuxjam-ogg/. Hopefully, this will get fixed once we update the underlying gstreamer library to version 1.0. Closing this for now.
