I think this page is missing critical steps under configure the message broker service

 firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=5672/tcp
 firewall-cmd --reload

The guide explains host firewalls at the beginning of the "networking" section in the Basic Environment chapter. Due to security implications, the guide leaves firewall management to the reader.

"RHEL and CentOS enable a restrictive firewall by default. During the installation process, certain steps will fail unless you alter or disable the firewall. For more information about securing your environment, refer to the OpenStack Security Guide."
