Bug Description
The large value of period causes 500 error when querying statistics with large value for period. This is a bad user experience and misleading. Appropriate error message should be returned in this case.

Internal error with period overflow
When statistics queried with large period value the overflow
causes error 500. This patch converts the overflow error to
ClientSideError which is returned as 400 bad input error
