nvidia-331 331.89-0ubuntu5: nvidia-331 kernel module failed to build

Often problem with nvidia and with external monitors. Have to add / remove the cable to the monitor many times before it will work. Sometimes even have to restart the computer without the external monitors. And then try to connect them later.
