I was requested to install kernel 3-18 RC5 to provide additional documentation for a problem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1392460 reported against kernel 3-16.

The only reason I got this problem was because I followed explicit
instructions from the kernel group to install the 3.18-rc5 kernel. Now
my graphics is screwed up. Even removing the 3.18-rc5 kernel has not
fixed that. Your team created this problem, so I would appreciate some
assistance at fixing it.
