Beta testers are redirected even when logged out

I just clicked on a launchpad.net Google search result, and I was redirected to the edge.launchpad.net version of the page. This was surprising to me because I was not logged in to Launchpad at the time.

I suggest that if you are not logged in, you should not be redirected.

This problem of different cookies for Launchpad and Launchpad Beta (Edge) causes a number of problems. If a Launchpad beta tester logs into Launchpad, they will be redirected to edge, where they must login again. Also, a person will remain logged in in Lauchpad even if they signed out of edge, causing a redirect to edge even when the beta tester is logged out.

Once we use OpenID for authenticating within Launchpad (bug 176845) this bug will be fixed. You'll login using the login.launchpad.net OpenID provider to authenticate against both LPNET and Edge. This means that once you logout of Edge, you'll also be logout of Launchpad and vice versa.

The redirect code is deleted and deployed. Redirects don't happen anymore.
