Bug Description
Updating from 14.04 to 14.10 update-manager stopped at 'Setting new software channels' with a message about 'could not calculate the upgrade' asking me to report a bug by doing 'ubuntu-bug ubuntu-
Is there any way to get verbose output from the process? I mean some people would prefer to look into the issue and would be able to fix it on their own instead of using some bug report tool....
yay! now I saw the hint where to find the log in the guidelines for reporting bugs.. how about just mentioning them in the error dialog? :-)

Seems the problem was around here: .*[0-9] \.[0-9] .*' matches 'postgresql- 9.3-postgis- 2.1' 9.3-postgis- 2.1' is marked for removal but it's in the removal blacklist 9.3-postgis- 2.1' is marked for removal but it is in the removal blacklist.'
