Au déroulement de l'installation de Lubuntu, qui est gravé sur DVD, il est proposé d'écraser le disque (SSD) avec LVM. Il est notamment possible de choisir l'installation chiffrée, mais alors l'installeur rencontre une erreur et retourne aux choix de partionnement. Lorsqu'il semble que ça fonctionne avec LVM, on arrive sur l'écran de sélection de fuseau horaire, mais l'installeur quitte sur une nouvelle erreur.
L'ordinateur est connecté à Internet.
