init scripts don't produce standard Ubuntu-style output

Bug #13929 reported by Dave Arter

gpm (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

Description:
The file /etc/init.d/gpm produces Debian style output when it's called, instead
of the standard Ubuntu form provided by /lib/lsb/init-functions
This isn't much more than a slight cosmetic annoyance, but it breaks the uniform
appearance of the Ubuntu startup/shutdown messages.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to reproduce:
1. Call /etc/init.d/gpm start|stop|restart
2. Observe the incorrectly formatted output

Actual results:
"Starting mouse interface server: gpm."

Expected results:
"Starting mouse interface server... [ ok ]"

Additional information:
Ubuntu version: Hoary
Package version: 1.19.6-19

gpm is an unsupported package from the 'universe' component, so its bugs are not
currently tracked in this system. This bug will be marked so that it can be
revisited when a facility exists for tracking bugs in the 'universe' component.
