Bug Description

Hello,

 Thanks,

Alberto.

i can confirm this too, from gnome-sound-properties can hear the sound, but doing the actions in the desktop which should trigger the sounds, nothing plays.

well, it is not fixed for me. I upgraded from feisty to gutsy on September 26th, and system sounds do not play anymore
