Bug Description
The installation guide has many issues: It is not maintained; Has never been converted to the new theme; Nobody, including back to Jeremy and Matt, can get it to build correctly, the way it somehow got built for 12.04, and so it doesn't actually display properly.
So, we are going to delete the installation guide from help.ubuntu.com (as was originally recommended by Matthew East a couple of years ago).
Instead we will add some links to the canonical installation web pages to the various index.html files on help.ubuntu.com
Now, the serverguide also has some references to the installation guide, which either need to be deleted or changed. This bug report to monitor that part of this transition.
for the 14.04 serverguide: this is for certain.
for the 12.04 serverguide: it is to be determined if we will backport this change.
for the 10.04 serverguide: we will leave it as it will go to EOL in April, and everything will just get deleted then.
We have changed our mind, and will continue to post he installation guide, albeit with no theme. Setting this one to invalid.
