Bug Description

Hi

I report this bug because there is something since the RTM with a webapp I made (webapp meteofrance). The corresponding website is http://www.meteo-france.mobi

In my tests, it works well if opened manually in the web browser app but not in the webapp. In the webapp, the website begin to load but stay on an empty page with just the blue background. I never changed anything in the app and it stopped working a day (I discovered it reading comments in the software center).

I tried removing the webapp patterns and remake the webapp from scratch, nothing works, it seems the problem is in the webapp-container itself (see the logs from the ubuntu sdk joined to the bug report).

I just installed the app from the store on my krillin (RTM proposed, #155), and it works fine.

Can you try deleting the app’s cache, and let me know if it makes things better? In the terminal app on the device, just issue the following command:

    rm -r ~/.local/share/com.ubuntu.developer.kpeignot.meteofrance

It's OK if I remove the cache, the application start well. No problem if I
stop/start the app. Then, is the problem only due to a system upgrade or
could happen again ?

Potentially, yes.

If you encounter the same issue again, could you please make a copy of the cache directory and attach it to this bug report, so I can try to reproduce it and investigate? Use the following command:

    tar cvjf /tmp/meteofrance.tar.bz2 -C ~/.local/share com.ubuntu.developer.kpeignot.meteofrance

and then attach the file generated in /tmp (if your device is connected by usb to your computer, you can "adb pull /tmp/meteofrance.tar.bz2").
