Upgrading 14.04 to 14.10, getting error (twice now) Could not calculate the upgrade, unresolvable problem occured...

Bug Description

This is very similar to bug report , #1385545, yet different in that I do not get any error "due to poor mirror". All I get is "Could not calcualte updgrade" and I have tried it several times, diasbled third party upgrades etc, still get this error. Thanks, ...Nina
