Bug Description
Enabling "NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver" or "NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (latest cards) causes xserver not start. On the same machine with feisty the driver work fine.

You probably didn't have the modules package installed for whatever the reason. This should not happen anymore in Intrepid, since the modules are built on the system on-demand.
