Bug Description
Allowing the Debug option on Xpad allows the developer to trace out the code flow and also makes simpler for new contributors.

I like the idea of having a built-in debugger. Code looked good.
Xpad kept working and the single debug message 'Startup' functioned as expected.
The functionality is merged in the main branch.
