while installing lubuntu via usb the installer crashed

i was installing lubuntu when the installer crashed for the first time, then i was directed to the live usage of the os without installing where i found an icon on the desktop reading Install Lubuntu 14.10.I tried installing it by double clicking it and while the copying of files was going on the installer crashed.

It looks like you tried to reuse an existing ext4 partition ( sda8 ) and it is corrupt. Please format or fsck it and try again.
