Bug Description

Binary package hint: linphone

I just installed linphone but it fails to start on my system running Ubuntu 7.04:

flavius@mbo:~$ linphone
GTK Accessibility Module initialized
Bonobo accessibility support initialized
Creating link /home/flavius/.kde/socket-mbo.
can't create mcop directory

The workaround is to do the following before starting linphone:
flavius@mbo:~$ mkdir /home/flavius/.kde/socket-mbo

Regards,
Flavius

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta or later?
