Bug Description

I installed Ubuntu Studio 14.10 on my panther laptop but found the USB mouse to have invisible pointer. During attempts to fix the problem I noticed that the graphics driver was not propriety so I installed the nvidia driver and am now able to use the mouse properly and change the screen resolution to the highest possible HD.
In a few days time I should have a better feel of my new system and may be able to tell more.
