Bug Description

Using btrfs brings very interesting features for a modern OS like snapshots (similar to Time Machine).
Here is a little demonstration

Swizzle, please don't assign bugs that haven't even been discussed.
Also, btrfs isn't yet stable enough to use as default.

Sorry my bad, now it's been considered as stable. openSUSE uses it by default in SLE.

This is definitely not an item for Freya, but we might have to use btrfs and perhaps even make it the only supported filesystem for a while if we go for https://docs.google.com/document/d/11Dv_ZGKFn9qhhkBVKNegPmNxhe3BAnsDWa6P4-XkAXg/edit

btr file system is stable finally ? a good point if i can install elementary os or other distribution on dd without break it (my last 500 GB drive is dead during last try)
