Bug Description
Binary package hint: mount
As gutsy is using ntfs-3g by default and using alias ntfs in fstab, the mount options for ntfs in the mount man page need to be updated.
I have taken the mount options from the ntfs-3g man page and attached a better entry for the specific ntfs mount options.
Only 1 doubt in the next to last option (debug) the driver is referred to as ntfs-3g. Should it be changed to ntfs?

Looking at the attachments in this bug report, I noticed that one was flagged as a patch incorrectly. A patch contains changes to an Ubuntu package that will resolve a bug, since this was not one I've unchecked the patch flag for it. In the future keep in mind the definition of a patch. You can learn more about what qualifies as a patch at https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/Bugs/ Patches.
I have also confirmed that the mount(8) man page in Jaunty does not contain mount options for ntfs-3g. Thanks for reporting this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better! Feel free to submit a patch against the mount package.
