As in bug #1384820, your install is clearly damaged and you will need to manually reinstall the plymouth- theme-ubuntu- text package to recover.
But this is not the first (or second) time this bug has been reported. *Why* is this file missing from your system? Did you follow some third-party guide regarding plymouth setup that told you to remove this file?
