Resetting the computer to its brand new state should be simple and fast.
This is how others put in effect this option:

I also feel this is a really good to have feature. Resetting it to factory setting can be really handy at times.
This can be implemented at various levels and / or be implemented separately.
-Reset default settings (Only the system settings will be reset)
-Reset apps and settings (Resets the OS back to it's factory state and removes all the installed apps -keeps user documents)
-Reset everything( Resets everything, just like a fresh install)
Though all these seems like a lot to ask, but I feel this should be given a thought, not for freya(too late now) but for future releases.
Given that there isn't any straightforward app in any other linux distro to achieve reset, it'll be a killer feature to have and quite elementary too!
