Evince can't automatically reload documents

Bug Description
Bug was originally reported in lyx:
"i have gutsy tribe 5 updated today:
the lyx dvi produces a new window with the file in it.
but i cannot update this.
when i change the text in lyx and press update, the evince window does not update (it does not even say that it is evince).
i am a lyx beginner - perhaps some of my parameters are incorrectly set (i just installed it). then it would require some docuementation"
Of course it's just a wish, but evince should offer an option to automatically reload documents as kpdf, kghostview, kdvi, gv, xdvi etc. do.

Andrew: evince does not automatically reload documents, you can reload documents hitting ctrl+r, or in the "view" menu, or you can set lyx to use other viewers such as kdvi that can automatically reload documents. You have to install kdvi using apt of course in the second case.
