Bug Description

CID: 201305-13670 Dell Inspiron 2350

When connected to a non-touch external monitor, the touchscreen on this system seems to be "shifted".
The cursor no longer jump to where you touch the screen, but it landed on the right side instead, see the attached picture for a click-and-drag result.

This issue cannot be reproduced on a laptop with touchscreen, so I think it's the issue of this touchscreen

Po-Hsu Lin / Anthony Wong, as per http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/inspiron-2350-aio/drivers an update to your BIOS is available (A05). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Thank you for your understanding.

Hello Anthony,

With the steps described in the first link, I'm able to map the touchscreen input device (Advanced Silicon S.A CoolTouch(TM) System) back to the AIO's touchscreen, after that, it works as expected.
