Bug Description

This is just a suggestion, but the community here seems kind of dying... I think it would make a lot of sense to move the project to a git repo and host it on GitHub, where there's a lot more active members. I was coming in here to fix the Python 3 issues that me and other people where having, but I don't even know how to submit a Pull Request on Launchpad with Bazaar...

I'm all for this. It's been 2.5 years since the last release here. I really like the feature set of oursql and will be greatly saddened if this project dies.

+1 from me. I would prefer to use oursql over mysqlclient/MySQLdb but it's not so practical without continued releases/community involvement.

I've started this process. Now available here: https://github.com/python-oursql/oursql

Due to bzr-fastimport not working as it says on the box, I've not been able to pull across history. Too bad.

I will update the description here to reflect the code's new location.

Changed in oursql:
status: New → Fix Released

I'm taking over maintainership from jerub, with the move to github.

Can you add the tags to the github repo? If this is the new official upstream I would like to be able to trigger builds off new releases. Notably, 0.9.3 and 0.9.4 tags are not present in this repo (and the README says 0.9.2 for both - rather than the correct version which is in the setup.py).
