Slingshot sometimes empty when opened in list view

Bug Description

Empty as in no category is selected by default in the list.

I've had this happen a few times now. See the video.

But no real idea how-to deliberately replicate it.

As long as you don't select a category in the list view, it will stay empty no even if you search for apps then erase the search, or swap to icon view and back etc..
