1002:7942 [Samsung NP-R58DYLC/SEK] Corrupt panel and graphic artifacts

Panel and panel shadow textures are corrupt while other semi-transparent elements of UI look ok. It seems this problem affects only panel, panel shadow and bottom(!) border of ubuntu start menu.

It seems that there's a problem with how unity handles "stretching/repeating" images, assuming that curved side panel is stored as whole image but Panel and bottom parts are streched or repeated to fit desktop.
P. S. KDE and elementary OS both work just fine so it's not hardware or ati driver (and x1250 is supported by linux ati driver).

Another waste of time *lol* - this bug (in the Radeon driver in my opinion!!!) will never being fixed! I´ll talk about that since years............................! As said, waste of time....how many new bugreports do they need to fix that damn bug? 500? Buy such a fu... laptop on Ebay and watch it yourself instead of asking the users again and again and again and again for new reports...sooner ore later all of them disappear unfixed....its only frustrating whats going on here - X1250 is not fully compatible with the free Radeon-driver or in other words the driver has bugs. Its not Mesa-related.

Same as for many other problems so many things in Linux-world have. The complete bug-system here and especially in launchpad is a complete joke. Not understandable for normal humans and furthermore only bugs with many affected users gets attention at all - a complete mad and crazy system in general - the whole "affected-by" is complete nonsense.
