missing file /etc/swift/swift.conf in swift proxy and nodes

I was installing swift when and when I tried to start the proxy-server it gave me an error that it couldn't start. I checked other documentation: http://docs.openstack.org/developer/swift/howto_installmultinode.html and I released that a file was created in /etc/swift/swift.conf that was nowhere described in the icehouse tutorial.

cat >/etc/swift/swift.conf <<EOF
[swift-hash]
# random unique strings that can never change (DO NOT LOSE)
swift_hash_path_prefix = `od -t x8 -N 8 -A n </dev/random`
swift_hash_path_suffix = `od -t x8 -N 8 -A n </dev/random`
EOF

This file should be present to all storage nodes.
