Bug Description
Using the Ubuntu daily from today (2014-10-15) the installation shows the following message:
┌───

│ No installable kernel was found in the defined APT sources. │
┌│ │
││ You may try to continue without a kernel, and manually install your │
││ own kernel later. This is only recommended for experts, otherwise you │
││ will likely end up with a machine that doesn't boot. │

Ubuntu-Server 14.10 "Utopic Unicorn" - Alpha ppc64el (20141015)
Just checked that /boot/ is empty.
My qemu line:
qemu-system-ppc64 -enable-kvm -M pseries -smp 4,cores=2,threads=4 -m 4G -device spapr-vscsi -device spapr-vlan,
I attached log files as well.
I mean /target/boot when I said that /boot is empty...
