Firefox - Page Up/Page Down Key Not Working When Blinking Cursor Is On

Here's how to reproduce:

(1) Go to the following page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_software

(2) Press the Page Down key (Page Dn / PageDown / PageDn). This does not work at all.

(3) Left click somewhere in the text. Now the blinking cursor is on.

(4) Press the Page Down key several times. This gets stuck at the middle of the page.
(The cursor is at the "中文" link on the left hand side column)

(5) Go to the bottom of the page and left click somewhere in the text.

(6) Press the Page Up key (PageUp). This does not work either. I can see it's trying to move up though...

What version of firefox ar eyou using and what ubuntu version is this?

Sorry for not updating.

After several days I posted this, the blinking cursor ceased to appear on my Firefox (2.0.0.6) on Ubuntu Feisty. So I no longer have this problem. (Well, having the cursor was sometimes useful to know and determine which text to copy, but having functional Page Up/Page Dn etc. seems to be better... I don't know if I can have both)

I just discovered that this "blinking cursor" thing is called "caret browsing" in Firefox. You can press F7 to turn it on to see this problem.
