Bug Description
Hello,
I have an issue with gvfs-mount on Ubuntu 14.04 (trusty).
Summary :
When I mount a Windows share (CIFS) via gvfs-mount, and I don't access to it while about 30 minutes, then when I try to access to it via Nautilus or a terminal (ls command for example), I have to wait about 20 seconds to display the directory contents.
Below, how to reproduce the problem :
1. Mount a Windows share (CIFS) via gvfs-mount command : 'gvfs-mount smb://ubuntu-
2. Check the share is mounted in '/run/user/
3. Wait about 30 minutes without accessing to this share
4. Access to this share via 'ls' command for example : 'ls /run/user/
If I run 'strace ls /run/user/
I have to wait at :
stat("/
of the line :
stat("/
I found this issue on my computer at work (specific configuration) and on my computer at home (standard configuration).
Tested with Windows XP / 7 / 2003 Server Shares.
I don't have this issue on Ubuntu 12.04.
If you need complementary information, don't hesitate to ask me.
Thanks for your help.
