Bug Description
Evergreen version 2.6
I would like to expand on Launchpad 1259747 (it’s not quite a duplicate in my opinion).

When creating a Serials Copy Template, the “Mint ?” checkbox should be checked by default.
Regular, non-serials, copies are in “good” or “mint” condition by default, and the cataloger must use the item attribute editor to change the condition to a “mediocre” condition. However, the opposite is true for Serials copies. Serials are not in “good” condition by default. Staff must select the “Mint ?” checkbox to place serials in a “good” condition (when creating the Copy Template that will later be attached to the distribution(s)).
This issue is particularly important to libraries that allow patrons to place Issue level holds. While the default “good” condition for items to fill holds can be disabled, the out-of-the-box Evergreen looks for the “good” equals True to fill a hold. If libraries are unaware of this feature, serials will not fill holds unless the “Mint ?” value equals True.

Copying my comment from bug 1259747:
Noting that the web client serial copy templates and the item editor now use the same language here (Good / Damaged), though the serial copy templates does not set a default value (item editor will still default this to true).
Can this be closed, or is it still expected that a serial copy template will default to quality = good?
(noting that I'm not sure what the behavior is if you create & use a serial copy template with quality left unset, and that is relevant here)
