header menu cut labels in some cases

Using 492 on rtm 96, starting a synchronization for a google calendar from the menu leads to a "synchronizing" label, that labels goes out of the menu in french, which probably means the menu should be larger/shifted to the left. That might be an ubuntu-ui-toolkit issue...

Is "Sync" a valid abbreviation in French? If so, perhaps we could use that as a simple workaround.

yeah, that would work and is a valid translation workaround, there is space for the label on screen though so the menu could be placed correctly as well...

Currently we came to conclusion that we will just shorten string to 15 characters if it exceed in any language .
I have discussed this with David , we'll fix this once we get this bug resolved from UI Toolkit.
