Could you describe your monitor setup? What resolution? Multiple monitors?

yes, I hoped for some obscure setup that we may not have tested though :P

Could you maybe record a video where you switch around the multitaskingview, open new windows and move them via drag-and-drop? Basically, I'd need to know if that happens only for the first workspace, if adding windows changes something and how to reproduce it. So if you could just record a video where you do plenty of stuff it'd be easiest.

I've also experienced some other weird behaviours as you can see in the picture (no blur behind workspace and too much blur behind app window) but i don't know if i have to fill a new bug report because they are similar.

I didn't experienced the "small workspace" issue since i filled this bug report so i couldn't record it .-. the other problems doesn't need a screencast.
First workspace doesn't have blur behind it, the only way is to switch workspace, always the first at startup.
The problem of too much blur happens with some gtk.Dialog and/or granite decorate windows.
