Documentation error

Section 7 of the Mailman Installation Manual makes reference to the HOME_DIR or MAILMAN_DIR variables. These are not to be found in Defaults.py, nor in mm_cfg.py as installed (v2.1.18). Variations on the PREFIX variable contain this same information. Perhaps it would be good to qualify the statement in the Installation Manual, or change it to reference the PREFIX variable.

I'll just remove the note. The current variables are PREFIX, EXEC_PREFIX and VAR_PREFIX, and I think the documentation of these in Defaults.py is sufficient.

I came across this in the online docs. This should also be changed on http://www.list.org/mailman-install/customizing.html and other copies of the Installation Manual, if any.

When I fix it, I will change the single master .tex file <http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~mailman-administrivia/mailman-administrivia/admin/view/head:/doc/mailman-install.tex>. This change will propagate to all the derived documents.

The note has been removed and the docs rebuilt and pushed to the web. The change will be in the next Mailman tarball.
