Bug Description
I'm getting some odd ltr characters showing up in some translations strings, like the following:

Strings where I've spotted this:
Located in ../libgweather/
Located in ../libgweather/
Located in ../libgweather/
Located in ../libgweather/
There is at least one other module affected but I've misplaced my notes
