telephony-service integrates with indicator-messages even on systems which don't have telephony capabilities, such as desktops (I'm guessing that ubuntu-
It shouldn't do this - I now have Phone Calls and SMS on my indicator even though this system can't make those.
Perhaps the solution is to gracefully exit if you detect the system doesn't have telephony capabilities, but I don't know if that makes sense given your API, so I would be happy enough if you just avoid registering with indicator-messages in this case.
