Is this bug fixed if you use a 3.16 based kernel (in trusty, just install linux-generic-lts-utopic), and if so, is this okay or is a backport to 3.13 still needed?

Verified with the latest mainline kernel 3.19.0-rc7, it could make this mute LED works on 201305-13624.
However 3.16 kernel does not.
