new horizon inverted tab style is very confusing and ugly

I just noticed the new patch that landed in horizon that changes the look/style of the tabs in horizon.

This new ui is confusing and very ugly. It's very hard to distinguish now which tab is selected as the tab is inverted. This is counter intuitive as compared to any modern UI.

When you have 3 tabs and the middle tab is selected, it now looks like the two outer values are selected.

I agree and find that this new tab style runs counter to everything I can recall seeing before. But it matches the style proposed in the approved blueprint.

I commented the same thing but UX team was stick to using the style. Before responding comments, Radomir and Tihomir gave +2 for their review, and Jaromir from UX team wanted to do so.

I believe two of them and Jaromir should answer this question.

IMHO this change in the tab styling is really confusing. UX team said they will make an improvement on the tab styling, but I don't see any progress so far. What I cannot understand is why the patch is required for the future improvement because it just changes the tab styling in the stylesheet. I think it is confusing just to revert the place of the border line for existing users. Unless we don't see any progress in near future (before landing Kilo-1), it is better to revert the patch.

The blueprint approval was for the overall improvement of the details view. I don't believe rethinking the past 30 years of tab format is in our best interest. I am in favor of moving back to a more traditional tab formatting.

David: Just an addition -- The proposal is not about changing tabs and how they work. What we are talking is sub-navigation on the detail page.
