resolution setting is not working

I am using Ubuntu 14.10. Inside my virtualbox which is up to date. I have issue in resetting is not working. Screen icons are enlarge by default. I can't even make it compitable or small to my screen size

Bipul, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. If you install the package virtualbox-guest-x11 in the guest, is the issue reproducible?
