Alarm is impossible to set

Bug Description

when setting alarm on Nexus 4, if I set hours to e.g. 8, it jumps itself to 6. When I finfish editing, it then shows alarm is set to 4. When I move minutes, it also changes hours randomly (there is probably some pattern, I did not bother to look for it). So it is impossible to use the alarm.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open alarm application.
2. Click add alarm or edit alarm.
3. Move hours column. Move minutes column. The columns do not stay at intended digits.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. May I ask if you changed the system timezone before trying to set the alarm? it is a known bug in the Ubuntu SDK that the clock app uses that if you change the system time (while the clock app was running in the background) and then try to set an alarm, the date time pickers behave strangely as reported in bug 1371694.

Can you try restarting the clock app and see if you are able to reproduce this bug?

Hello!

Yes, I indeed changed the time zone before I tried to set alarm.
After restarting the phone the issue has gone and alarm behaved normally. However, after factory reset, it comes back (took me to restart the phone again to get rid of the issue).

I am able to reproduce the bug. If I open app, change time zone and go to alarm, I have the same problem. After restarting the clock app, alarm works properly.

Yes when you do factory reset it resets your phone timezone to default UTC. Either way, if you change the timezone while clock app is open, it breaks the alarm time picker as mentioned above. This is a fault in the SDK rather than the clock app. As such I am marking this bug a duplicate.

Temporary Fix: Restart the clock app after changing the timezone.
