kde 4.14.1 on Trusty does not suspend to ram on laptop lid close nor a button on K menu / Leave

Bug Description

suspend did work before the upgrade to 4.14.1 (I was on 4.13.? not sure)
sudo pm-suspend does do the correct thing.

from 'upower -d'
Daemon:

  on-battery: yes
  on-low-battery: no
  lid-is-closed: no
  lid-is-present: yes
  is-docked: no

qdbus org.kde.kded /org/freedesktop/PowerManagement CanSuspend
false

qdbus org.kde.kded /org/freedesktop/PowerManagement Suspend
Locks the screen only.

After the upgrade to 4.14.1 I had loged out and restarted lightdm, I havce since rebooted my laptop and now suspend is fine. sorry to waste time, this ticket can be closed.
