Bug Description

after running awn on debian i can see some ulgly black line down my screen

(avant-window-navigator:8323): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_cairo_create: assertion `GDK_IS_DRAWABLE (drawable)' failed
(avant-window-navigator:8323): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_composite: assertion `dest != NULL' failed
(avant-window-navigator:8323): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_ref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

You need a composite manager to run Awn.

Which bzr version do you use? Normally the newest, will give an error that you need to start compiz (-fusion) or any other compositing manager.
